How
to help keep "Depression" out of your relationship!
I believe that the reason that relationships are one of
the number one causes of depression is because we fall in
love during the chasing or wooing phase of the relationship
and the honeymoon phase of the relationship is when we are
the happiest and most contented.Unfortunately though
we tend to follow human instinct and after we have won the
love of our life's heart we tend to take them for granted
because we now feel safe and secure in their love.We
tend to stop doing all the little things we did in the
beginning to let them know how much they mean to us.We
don't do this intentionally, it just becomes too easy to
slip into a habit of putting things off until a lot of the
time we have put something very important off too long.
Most people usually think that they became depressed because
the relationship ended but usually the depression came way
before the relationship ended. We often ask ourselves
"Isn't this the same person that used to make me feel happier than I had ever felt before? What happened?".Chance are
that no this isn't the same person and neither are you. Because we have over time fell into the habit of taking each other for granted. The "Honeymoon" is over.My question
is why does the honeymoon have to end?If you really love
each other then making them happy makes you happy too, I
know that when I make someone else happy is when I feel the
happiest myself.Don't let yourself fall into the habit of putting off letting your partner know how important they are
to you, if it takes it make a list of things to do everyday
and put that at the top of the list.Don't let the honeymoon
be the happiest time of your life, let your life be a honeymoon. Remember the things that you enjoy doing
together and fit them into your schedule as often as
possible, don't wait until you want to do something fun
together and can't think of a thing to do because you have forgotten what you used to enjoy.I love the song by Keith Whitley "I Love How You Love Me" and it really hits home
here because we all love to feel loved and we all need to
feel loved, that's what makes our lives worthwhile and gives
us the strength to overcome all the problems life throws our way.

The music you are listening to is "Look At Us" and I have
chosen this because that is the wish I make for all of you,
that years from now you can hear this song and say
"Sweetheart it's almost like that song was wrote for us"!
My love and best wishes to you all and please be kind to
one another.*smile*
